Our first BBQ class!

We held our first on-site barbecue class last week - it was a success!

Last Thursday, Saskatoon Barbecues & More held its first on-site barbecue class, featuring certified pitmaster Brian Misko. Despite the sudden turn in the weather that Thursday, plenty of people came out for Brian's lessons on cooking chicken, steaks and burgers on Yoder smokers.

We would like to thank everyone who signed up and attended - based on the response, we will likely do this again at some point - check back for announcements!

Special congratulations are in order for Vincent Mullay and Nicole Hildebrandt, the winners of our free-admission draw!

We would also like to congratulate Jason Forrest and Dan Kemppainen, who received free admissions with the purchase of their own new Yoder smokers, courtesy of The Smoker Broker. Equipped with their new Yoder smokers and Brian's expert instruction, they're sure to produce great meals in the future!

Earlier in the afternoon, Brian demonstrated the Yoder smokers outside (in the snow and cold wind, no less!), answering questions and preparing ingredients for the evening class.

The evening class proper was indoors, and went into much more depth with cooking techniques.

...and yes, everybody got to try the finished products!
